Company Mergers

(EX: Facilitated year-long implementation of a new truck and rail division.  Coordinated work of industry experts, strategic planning facilitators, and transportation management.  Facilitated all review meetings and assisted management in data interpretation and message development.  Lead project manager reported it “could not have been done without Katherine’s assistance” and that “her ability to cross lines of expertise and management levels was vital to the success of the project.”)

Strategy Implementation

(EX: Facilitated implementation and change management leadership team of a start-up division of a major airline. Assisted in shaping executive messages for large employee meetings. Leadership Transitions

(EX: Facilitated the leadership transition of a third-generation family business firm over a 2-year period. Led the re-design of the company governance structure, creating an executive board that provided counsel to third generation and oversaw establishment. Data Analytics Initiative Implementation

(EX: Lead facilitator tasked with the workshop design and oversight of a month-long series of cross-functional (IT, data analytics, technology, engineering, and operations) workshops. Workshops identified use cases vital to operational success, data format and frequency needed to support critical decision-making, and recommended priorities. One technical attendee noted how he “avoids workshops like the plague as they are usually such a waste of time. But these were so different and so valuable. Well done.”

Operational Transformation Initiatives

(EX: Led a 6-month effort to re-engineer a cargo delivery system for a major airline. Facilitated cross-functional meetings, designed roadmap for problem identification, ensured alignment across business leadership, coordinated implementation of recommendations for improvement.)

Technology Portfolio Management Development

(EX: Facilitated strategy revision initiative and portfolio management process for Technology Division. Coordinated and designed stakeholder interview format and questions, designed pathway for employee involvement in development of alternatives, facilitated steering committee meetings, and assisted with development of communications to gain support from both internal staff and C-suite.)
